Recentemente, una notizia straziante ha causato un enorme scalpore sia a livello nazionale che internazionale:

Due addetti al commercio estero sono stati rapiti durante un viaggio d'affari nelle Filippine. Dopo che i rapitori hanno ricevuto un riscatto di 3 milioni, hanno comunque ucciso crudelmente le vittime.

Secondo addetti ai lavori, le due vittime appartenevano a due diverse società di dispositivi medici ed erano entrambe dirigenti di livello medio-alto.

Hanno incontrato una donna cinese di nome "Li Na", che affermava di essere un agente filippino, all'EuroPCR di maggio e sono stati invitati nelle Filippine per una visita, sperando di espandere ulteriormente il mercato estero. Sono stati rapiti subito dopo essere scesi dall'aereo e hanno tragicamente incontrato la loro morte.

Secondly, ensure travel autonomy.

Drive yourself (rent a car, hotel car service, regular taxi, ride-sharing with trackable trips) to visit clients, and avoid taking the client’s car.

Finally, arrange meetings in office buildings or formal locations.

Generally, when visiting clients for the first time, it is common to meet in the company's conference room or a five-star hotel to showcase the company’s strength and ensure mutual trust.

While traveling, personal safety should always be the top priority.

After the incident, a netizen who had worked in the Philippines shared their experience:

"Durante il mio periodo di lavoro nelle Filippine, la nostra azienda ha posto grande enfasi sull'educazione alla sicurezza dei dipendenti. Tutti erano dotati di una scheda di contatto di emergenza, che conteneva i numeri dell'ambasciata, della stazione di polizia e dei contatti di emergenza dell'azienda. Ci siamo anche ricordati a vicenda di evitare aree con scarsa sicurezza." Potrebbe valere la pena adottare questo approccio da parte di più società di commercio estero.

A parte il tanto pubblicizzato “oceano blu” e la “corsa all’oro”, la realtà di situazioni instabili, economie stagnanti e mancanza di sicurezza in molti paesi e regioni pone rischi nascosti.

Fare soldi è importante, ma nessuno dovrebbe essere un sacrificio. Almeno garantire tranquillità a chi va e adottare alcune precauzioni.

Nonostante le recenti controversie tra Cina e Filippine sulla questione del Mar Cinese Meridionale, la lotta ai crimini di rapimento è urgente per risollevare il morale del personale del commercio estero.
